World Travel Tech Awards – the global initiative to recognise and reward excellence in the travel tech sector – has unveiled the winners of its 2022 programme at a glittering gala reception in Jordan, with Technoheaven the official Event Partner.

The finest travel technology brands from around the world attended this year’s red-carpet World Travel Tech Awards Gala Ceremony, hosted at The Ritz-Calton, Amman.

Notable winners on the night included IBM winning the coveted title ‘World's Best AI Travel Technology Provider’ and Amadeus collecting ‘World's Best Travel Technology Provider’.

Also celebrating this year was Zoom, winner of ‘World's Best Video Conferencing Solution’, with KAYAK collecting ‘World's Best Hotel Comparison Website’. took the title for ‘World's Best Tourism Authority Website’, whilst Mastercard was named ‘winning World’s Best B2B Travel Payments Provider’.

Other winners include Almatar (‘Middle East's Best Travel Booking App’), Roiback (‘World's Best Hotel Booking Solutions Provider’) and Sabre (‘World's Best Travel Merchandising Solutions Provider’). Technoheaven proved one of the stars of the evening, picking up 'World's Best DMC Software Provider'.

The results follow a year-long search for the world’s leading travel cech brands. Votes were cast by travel tech professionals and the public, with the nominee gaining the most votes in a category named as the winner.
